Welcome to My Sports Collections (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who We Are
The App is published by Léo Harold, sole trader (micro-entrepreneur) registered in France under SIRET 98193520800018. Contact: contact@mysportscollections.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering. You may delete your account at any time from the App menu; deletion is permanent and immediate.
4. User Content
The App lets you upload and share content, including photos of collectible items, descriptions, and teams ("User Content").
Ownership. You retain ownership of the User Content you create. We do not claim ownership of it.
License. By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the App, solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with other users or retained in backups for a limited time.
Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. You confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, or infringing on intellectual property or privacy rights
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload counterfeit authentication claims intended to deceive other users
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the App
- Use the App for spam, fraud, or any unlawful purpose
- Collect or harvest data about other users
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Objectionable Content and Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Users can report inappropriate content and block abusive users directly within the App. When content is reported, we will review it and remove any objectionable content, and may suspend or permanently ban the user who posted it, within 24 hours. By using the App, you agree not to post objectionable, abusive, harassing, or illegal content, and you understand that violating this policy may result in the immediate removal of your content and the termination of your account.
7. Authentication Tool
My Sports Collections provides an authentication tool that helps users assess the likely authenticity of football shirts based on product codes. The tool is intended as an aid in evaluating a shirt, not as a definitive authentication, certification, or guarantee of authenticity.
No guarantees
While we strive to provide useful and reasoned assessments, My Sports Collections does not guarantee that results are accurate, complete, or definitive. Product codes may be reused, misapplied, altered, or copied by third parties. A result indicating that a shirt is likely authentic does not guarantee authenticity, and a result indicating that a shirt is likely fake does not definitively establish that it is counterfeit. Genuine shirts may be flagged, and sophisticated counterfeits may pass undetected.
User responsibility
You are responsible for how you interpret and use the information provided by the authentication tool. Results should be treated as one indicator among several and never as the sole basis for a purchase, sale, valuation, or dispute. We strongly encourage users to verify shirts using multiple indicators, including physical inspection, product codes, seller reputation, provenance, and trusted external references or professional authentication services.
No professional advice
The authentication tool does not constitute expert opinion, professional appraisal, or legal advice. My Sports Collections is not a certified authentication authority, and its results carry no official or evidentiary status.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Sports Collections shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or disputes arising from the use of the authentication tool, including but not limited to purchasing decisions, sales, financial loss, or reliance on authentication results.
8. Advertising
The App is free to use and is financed through advertising. By using the App, you acknowledge that ads may be displayed. Where required by law, we will request your consent for personalized advertising.
9. Intellectual Property
The App itself, including its design, logo, and software, is protected by intellectual property rights and belongs to the publisher. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without permission.
Club names, brands, and product names that appear in the App belong to their respective owners. The publisher is independent and not affiliated with any club, brand, or league.
10. Availability and Changes
We strive to keep the App available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be communicated within the App.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or damages arising from your use of the App or from User Content posted by other users.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.
