Q&A: Do different weight motor oils really affect the car THAT much or is it just preference?

Question by Sam S: Do different weight motor oils really affect the car THAT much or is it just preference?
My car suggests 5W-20, but if I use, say, 5W-30, what’s the harm? Will I damage the engine somehow? What other negative consequences might result? What about using higher viscosity oils for “older” engines? Is that recommended or does it do any good?

sounds like your suspension is to tight, loosen it a bit on the inside.if you can get the inside to drop a little it will hook up and not slide on you.and again you may have to much power.feather the corners a little.and again it could be the tires.there are several things it could be,don’t be afraid to talk to other drivers sometimes they will share secrets.good luck future Nascar man.

Did they really feed the snake a live rat in Malcolm in the Middle, “Stock Car Races?”?

Question by LawlietOtaku8D: Did they really feed the snake a live rat in Malcolm in the Middle, “Stock Car Races?”?
They showed a snake, a live rat, had the camera at a different angle where you couldn’t see and you heard a loud squeak.

Please no opinions on weather you think feeding live is okay or not. Personally I am against live feeding, I feed my snake frozen/thawed.

It probably would have been a dead one, because there are often laws about harming a animal during a show. I feed my snake frozen stuff, I feel bad for the mouse if it is alive.

Is NASCAR, really stock car racing?

Question by nckstvns79: Is NASCAR, really stock car racing?
We have the COT and the regular cars, yet they can’t be purchasded at an auto dealer. Back when NASCAR was founded, they basically took cars from the lot and modified them, why not anymore? Since everything is about the amount of money being spent by teams, maybe if they went back to what they should be doing it might be a little less expensive for the teams.

Nascar came from stock cars. Today to win, the teams need composite body panles and very high speed/tech engine.
